I’m Erica Settino, an author, artist, and activist whose work is rooted in creative expression, interconnection, and collective liberation. I am also a late-diagnosed AuDHDer, and my way of seeing and creating is deeply relationally—attuned to patterns, kinship, and the living threads that bind us to one another, all living beings, and the greater, natural world at large.

Across nonfiction, children’s literature, poetry, and visual art, I explore what it means to remember ourselves as part of a living, ensouled world. My work is shaped by vegan ethics and a commitment to collective liberation, as well as spiritual practices including yoga, animism, tarot, and eclectic witchcraft, which inform both my creative process and my activism.
Rather than separating spirituality from justice or art from politics, I understand these as inseparable. I believe liberation is a spiritual practice, and that care–for animals, ecosystems, communities, and ourselves–is a radical act in a culture and society built on extraction, oppression, and separation.
You can learn more about my activism through my nonprofit organization, Karuna For Animals: Compassion In Action, Inc. below. As well as commission me for yoga classes, tarot readings, and/or pet portraits through my ko-fi page, also linked below.
My forthcoming books reflect this mycelial approach: a work of nonfiction that explores tarot magick through a neurodivergent lens, a children’s book that invites young readers into relational ways of being with the world and to consider what it means to be a witch, and a poetry chapbook that speaks through kinship, ritual, grief, and wonder. Though they take different forms, they are all expressions of the same question: how do we live as if we belong to each other and to the living world?

At the heart of everything I create is an invitation to slow down, to listen, and to remember that we are not alone, but wonderfully, magickally interwoven and interconnected. I create stories, spells, and art that help us remember that we belong to each other and to the living world that holds us all.
I am so glad you found me. Thanks for being here.
